Phone Campaign Against Bill O'Reilly
Call O'Reilly's Producer and Demand an Apology
The National Iranian American Council is demanding an apology from Bill O’Reilly for his outrageous call to “blow Iran off of the face of the Earth” during a March 8th edition of “The Radio Factor”.
Over 13,000 emails demanding for an apology have been sent from NIAC’s website to Mr. O’Reilly and the producers of his show.
NIAC has in several discussions with both producers of the O’Reilly Factor and the holding company of the Fox News Network conveyed the concerns of the Iranian-American community and demanded an apology. Mr. O’Reilly, however, has resisted and not given any indication that he understands the implications of his remarks and appears to be waiting for the public outcry to eventually dissipate.
Mr. O’Reilly’s comments are reprehensible and have no place in the public discourse. We must continue to maintain pressure on Mr. O’Reilly and the producers of Fox News.
NIAC has organized a nationwide phone campaign that will allow the Iranian-American community to voice their disapproval directly to Mr. O’Reilly and his producers.
All calls should be placed on Wednesday April 12, between 1:00 to 5:00 PM Eastern Time for maximum impact.
Please notify ten of your closest friends and have them call Mr. O’Reilly and his producers too.
